i play drums. .. pretty good instrument if you ask me... .;

if you're a drummer or you plan on becoming one i recommend pearl (if you have a decent budget backing you, that is) - otherwise go for a sonor, mapex, or a cheaper brand. no i am not paying out the companies - it's all about the money...
